High-quality 3D-printed parts for industrial use.

Technical polymer parts for development, assembly and production

3D printing for mechanical engineering in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In mechanical engineering, a 3D-printed part must do more than look good. It must fit the installation, withstand its intended loads and assemble reliably. BEICK manufactures technical FDM components for companies across North Rhine-Westphalia, from functional prototypes to repeatable small batches.

  • Brackets, adapters, covers and housings
  • Assembly aids, drilling templates and inspection gauges
  • Functional prototypes for installation and load testing
  • Gripper components and workpiece-specific fixtures
  • Small batches without tooling costs

When FDM 3D printing makes sense in mechanical engineering.

FDM is particularly useful for customised parts, variants and low quantities. Changes can be implemented directly in the CAD data without a new mould.

The process is valuable when conventional manufacturing would be excessive for the required quantity, a component needs rapid adjustment or a real functional test is required first.

Not every part is suitable: Very tight tolerances, sustained high temperatures, special approvals or high mechanical loads may require another material, additional finishing or a different process.

Review · Coordination · Manufacturing

From CAD data to a component ready for use.

  1. Send STEP, STL or 3MF data, a drawing or a sketch.
  2. We review geometry, wall thickness, orientation, tolerances and critical functional surfaces.
  3. Material, colour, surface and required finishing are coordinated.
  4. The part is manufactured and checked for visible defects and agreed features.
  5. Approved data and parameters can be reused for recurring parts.

Information about loads, temperature, chemical contact, UV exposure, installation space and quantity helps us make a reliable recommendation.

Mechanical engineering and 3D printing from one source

Material and manufacturing route follow the application.

Material selection follows the function. PETG and ASA suit many robust applications and housings. PA, PC and selected fibre-reinforced polymers may be appropriate for more demanding parts. TPU enables flexible protection and damping elements.

BEICK combines additive manufacturing with practical experience in design, CNC machining and mechanical engineering. We therefore assess the part in the context of assembly, function and economical quantity.
