3D CAD with Autodesk Fusion and Inventor
We use Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk Inventor for design work. These systems allow us to create parametric 3D models, individual parts, assemblies, technical drawings and production-ready documentation.
Output and exchange formats

- Native Autodesk files by agreement
Required data and the level of detail are agreed before the project begins so that manufacturing, suppliers and installation teams can work from clearly defined documents.

Design for manufacture and assembly
Good design considers the subsequent manufacturing process from an early stage. Wall thicknesses, radii, tolerances, tool access, standard parts and assembly routes are therefore coordinated during development.
This can reduce unnecessary production steps, costly rework and later assembly problems. On request, we optimize existing components with regard to weight, stability, material use or more economical manufacturing processes.
Technical assessment
Installation conditions, movement envelopes and possible collisions are checked during design. Where appropriate, we use the simulation tools available in Autodesk Fusion and Inventor to support plausibility checks. Verifiable calculations or certification form part of a project only when expressly agreed.

Design modifications and spare-part development
If drawings are missing or a component is no longer available, we develop a new CAD model from existing samples, measurements or documentation. The original component can be reproduced or deliberately improved.

COMBINING DESIGN AND 3D PRINTING
Prototypes and functional samples
Design stages can be produced as prototypes or functional samples before final manufacture. In-house 3D printing enables rapid checks of dimensions, installation conditions, handling and assembly.
Necessary changes can be identified before tooling or metalworking costs are incurred. Depending on the later application, visual models, assembly aids, functional parts and small batches in engineering plastics are possible.
