Mechanical engineering for existing plant and bespoke solutions.
BEICK combines practical workshop experience with design and manufacturing. We support the repair and overhaul of machines and assemblies, work on long-serving plant and project-specific special designs.
- Condition assessment and technical clarification
- Agreed dismantling, repair, remanufacture and installation
- Adaptation to existing interfaces and installation conditions
- Design and manufacture of individual assemblies
ROLL GMBH · ROLL-STRIPPER RO-2 · EXISTING MACHINERY
Repair and overhaul with the complete assembly in view.
Every repair begins with a technical assessment: which function is affected, which components are involved and which documents or samples are available? This provides the basis for agreeing a suitable scope of work.
Our experience includes work on machines from ROLL GmbH, such as the ROLL-STRIPPER RO-2. Depending on the findings, we work on mechanical assemblies, wear parts, bearing points, drive or connecting elements and manufacture suitable spare parts from drawings or samples.
- Record the condition and narrow down the fault
- Dismantle assemblies and assess components
- Repair, adapt or remanufacture parts
- Complete installation and the agreed functional check
The nature and scope of work are defined separately for each machine. On behalf of ROLL GmbH, BEICK carries out repair and overhaul work on ROLL machines in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Repair and overhaul of a ROLL-STRIPPER RO-2.
This example shows work on a ROLL-STRIPPER RO-2. The starting point was a technical diagnosis of the machine and the accessible mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
Depending on the findings, individual components were removed, cleaned, reconditioned or replaced. This was followed by assembly, adjustment and a professional check of the agreed functions before recommissioning.
- Record the fault and identify affected assemblies
- Remove components and assess their condition
- Recondition suitable parts or replace them as agreed
- Assemble and adjust components and check agreed functions
The scope of each repair is determined by the actual condition of the machine. On behalf of ROLL GmbH, BEICK carries out repair and overhaul work on ROLL machines in North Rhine-Westphalia.

PAPER INDUSTRY · VIB ENVIRONMENT · TECHNICAL ADAPTATION
Keeping existing paper-industry plant in operation.
In older paper machines, current operating requirements often meet designs, assemblies and documentation originating from earlier industrial structures. BEICK brings experience with existing plant, including equipment with a factual connection to the VIB environment.
The focus is the technical task: understanding the existing function, recording interfaces, assessing wear and developing a traceable repair or adaptation.
- Measurement and condition assessment directly at the assembly
- Assessment of existing drawings, samples and markings
- Repair and remanufacture of suitable mechanical components
- Adaptation to the existing installation and operating situation
Missing documents or unknown materials are explicitly considered in the project; technical assumptions are agreed before manufacturing.

SPECIAL DESIGN · CABIN · INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
Single-person lift as a project-specific special design.
One example of our special designs is a single-person lift. The project begins with the available space, intended use and existing connection points. These requirements form the basis for designing the mechanical components and assemblies.
- Record requirements and available space
- Design the cabin, frame and mechanical interfaces
- Prepare manufacturing documents and produce components
- Consider assembly sequence and accessibility
Safety requirements, permitted use, inspection and approval are clarified for the project with the operator and the relevant bodies. The photograph shows the completed lift cabin.

SPECIAL DESIGN · TRAPEZOIDAL THREAD · MANUFACTURE · INSTALLATION
Protective enclosure for a spray-bar lifting system.
BEICK designed, manufactured and installed a tailored protective enclosure for the trapezoidal threads of a spray-bar lifting system. The design was based on the installation conditions, travel and existing connection points.
The multi-part enclosure follows the lifting movement and provides a structural barrier between the threaded areas and the immediate plant environment. Its design and fixings were matched to the existing lifting system.
- Measurement and clarification of the available space
- Design of the enclosure and fixing points
- Manufacture of the sheet-metal components
- Installation and adaptation on the existing plant
This project example shows an individual solution for a specific existing installation.

CONDITION CHECK · SURFACE RECONDITIONING · RESTORATION
Surface reconditioning of a steam box.
For this service example, a removed steam box was first inspected for visible wear, deposits and conspicuous surface areas. The defined scope of work was then matched to the existing assembly.
BEICK reconditioned the surfaces and professionally restored the agreed areas, taking account of existing connections, component transitions and subsequent assembly.
- Clean the assembly and prepare it for inspection
- Record the condition of accessible surfaces
- Recondition the agreed surface areas
- Check treated areas and prepare the assembly for further use
The specific work steps depend on the condition, material and agreed scope for the individual steam box.

PREPARATION · SET-UP · PIPE COMPONENTS · WELDING
TIG welding on stainless-steel pipes.
BEICK sets up stainless-steel pipe components for agreed TIG welding work. Joint surfaces, dimensions and positioning are checked and prepared for the specific task before welding.
A suitable clamping and rotary fixture supports controlled work on circumferential joints. Welding is matched to the component geometry, material and intended use.
- Prepare pipe components and joint surfaces
- Align components and set them up in the fixture
- Carry out the agreed TIG welding work
- Check the completed joint and rework it if required
The scope, weld preparation and further processing steps are defined for each pipe component.

ASSESS · DESIGN · MANUFACTURE · INSTALL
From findings to an agreed technical solution.
- Define the task: the machine, fault, required function and available documents are recorded together.
- Assess the existing installation: dimensions, interfaces, available space and visible damage are documented.
- Agree the solution: repair route, spare part, adaptation or new design are assessed technically and economically.
- Manufacture and install: agreed parts and assemblies are produced, finished and installed.
- Check the result: the characteristics and functions defined in the order are checked and handed over.
Additional documentation, tests or coordination with other parties are defined in the scope before work begins.
