From an initial part to an agreed batch.
- Review feasibility: We consider geometry, material requirements and intended use.
- Define the scope: Quantity, functional dimensions, finishing and inspection features are agreed for the order.
- Review a sample: Where useful, an initial component supports checks of fit and handling.
- Produce the batch: The agreed revision is the basis for manufacture.
Sample approval does not replace evidence required for safety-critical applications. Special inspections must be agreed explicitly.

Keep repeat orders tied to the right revision.
For repeat batches, the approved data, material, part orientation and agreed manufacturing parameters can be documented. State the previous part reference and requested revision when reordering.
A different colour, material or operating condition may require another review. Changes are therefore not silently introduced into repeat orders.

When another manufacturing process may be preferable.
Size, geometry, material, finishing and quantity affect the work involved. Tight functional dimensions, high temperatures or special evidence requirements may rule out FDM. A blanket unit price or guaranteed delivery time without review would not be reliable.
